When I first started hearing about AI, I wasn't convinced it was something I needed in my business.
I didn't want my content sounding robotic, and I definitely didn't want a tool doing all the thinking for me.
Then I started using it.
And I realized AI didn't have to replace the way I worked. It could simply make some of the work easier.
So, What Is AI?
You don't need to understand all the technical stuff to use AI in your coaching business.
Think of a tool like ChatGPT as something you can use to help you brainstorm, organize your thoughts, work through ideas, and get past that blank screen when you don't know what to write.
You give it information and direction, and it gives you something to work with.
The important part is that you're still in charge.
Use AI to Help With Your Marketing
One of my favorite ways to use AI is for marketing.
You can use it to help you:
- Brainstorm content ideas
- Draft emails
- Come up with podcast or article topics
- Turn one idea into several pieces of content
- Think through what your ideal clients may be searching for
- Get clearer about how to explain your offer
Instead of spending an hour staring at a blank screen, you can start with an idea from AI and then make it sound like you.
Don't Just Copy and Paste
This part is important.
AI can give you a starting point, but that doesn't mean everything it gives you should go straight onto your website or social media.
Read it.
Change it.
Add your experiences and opinions.
Take out words you would never say.
Your content should still sound like you because people are hiring you—not ChatGPT.
Start Simple
You don't need to learn every AI tool available.
Start with one.
Ask ChatGPT to help you brainstorm five post ideas. Give it something you've already written and ask it to turn that into an email. Ask it to help you think through questions your potential clients might have about your offer.
As you get more comfortable, you'll naturally start finding other ways to use it.
AI doesn't have to take over your business.
Use it to make some of the work easier so you have more time for the parts of your business that need you.
